Some prose examples will be displayed and discussed among the group. For your own examples, Carol offers suggestions for improving your prose.

NON-COMPULSORY HOMEWORK
September 2023 session
This session is based on the new lesson Crafting Engaging Marriage Descriptions, which is lesson five in the new course: Crafting Compelling Family Histories. It can be accessed through the Annual Members portal.
The homework is to craft a marriage description that is more than just the names, date and place.
I'll limit the discussion to four writing samples as this seems to be best time-wise, so it will work on a "first in" basis. Please send in your samples between Monday 25 September and Wednesday 27 September.
